I just got a new global high score in Crimsonland Typ'o'Shooter. Not that there's a huge playership or anything, but damn, that was a good game.

Crimsonland is a great top-down shooter (screenshots, download). Typ'o'Shooter is one of the game types it includes -- you type the words over the bad guys' heads to shoot them. It's a really good typing skills challenge. With shotguns and zombies. What's not to like?

I love that game. I had the #5 high score for the survival mode at one point.

Nice. My high score for survival is 6.65M. There was a time when that would have ranked decently, but now it's not even in the top 100.

Actually, check that. My new high score in survival is 8.5M -- currently 90th :)

I think the plasma shotgun is my new favorite weapon. The jackhammer probably has the best endgame damage with fire bullets, but when you lose the fire bullets, it has a hard time killing anything to generate more bonuses. The gauss shotgun has good base damage, but it doesn't fire fast enough to really take advantage of fire bullets. The plasma shotgun is a happy medium.
